For sale is my immaculate March 2012 registered BMW Z4 sDrive 28i Roadster M Sport, presented in the rare colour combination of Melbourne Red metallic with full heated Black Kansas leather & unmarked Carbon Aluminium Interior Trim.

35,000 motorway-commuting miles with full & correct main dealer BMWSH, including Interim services and brake fluid changes on schedule. The car also benefits from having just had its Major Service in the last week as well as a fresh MOT with no advisories. The car is also comprehensively covered under a 5-year service inclusive pack, the remainder of which is valid to the new owner until March 2017.

Individually specified and built to order from new by myself, this one owner car has nearly every factory optional extra ticked in particular:

19” 326 M Alloy wheels
M Sport 8 Speed Auto transmission with Paddle shift
BMW Professional Media with Navigation
BMW Business Loudspeaker system
Bluetooth Phone Prep & Telematics
Adaptive M Sport Suspension
Heated Seats
Park Distance Control front & rear
Exterior and interior folding & auto dimming mirrors
Wind Deflector
Cruise Control with Brake Function
Extended Storage Pack

All other usual M Sport refinements including: Xenon Headlights, Auto Sensing Lights, Auto Sensing Wipers, Auto Air Conditioning & Climate Control, Electric Windows as well as First Aid kit. All keys present to accompany paperwork with all manuals and receipts enclosed in the M Sport wallet as well as the original purchase / order invoice.

The Car further benefits from having had a “Supagard” Paint Protection Sealant applied from new and has recently had two new rear tyres.

M enthusiast owned, this car has wanted for nothing in my ownership. Fastidiously maintained and will be evident to the new owner upon viewing. Always run on V power and has always followed the correct warming up schedule. Just been detailed this week.

Genuine reason for sale, M235i purchase :D

All genuine enquiries welcome.

Stunning car... but we're not to fond of people only joining to sell. Should have come to the last meet :poke:

Also, very expensive considering what the last 28i on here sold for!

Hey Billy,

Many thanks for your feedback!

My colleagues at work, who are also members, recommended this forum as a place for people who genuinely love Z4's...so I thought it the perfect place to start! :D

By how much do you think the asking price is too much? I ask simply because it was the product of some amount of market research (Glasses)

All the Best,
Ed

Last one on here sold for around 18.5k. Same age and slightly lower mileage than yours.

Spec was mostly similar with following differences:
- 18" wheels
- 2 or 3 years service pack left
- manual, not auto
- better hifi (prof, not bus)

see here: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=75142

Admittedly, your colour is much nicer. That and the fact that it's an auto will add some value but I have my doubts that you'll get anything above 20k in a private sale.

Why are you selling? Such a stunning car

Good luck in any case

Hey Billy,

Thanks once again for the detailed reply. I had a search through the website after your last message and found that very same one.

I think you are right regarding your pricing, but I'm hoping that someone will make an offer.

Its a stunning car that has given three years of blissful, easy and fun ownership and I love it.

Couple of reasons for sale, mainly purchase of an M235i and secondly.....i need backseats!

Thanks for your replies and your advise!

All the best,
Ed

Hi

I've been browsing this forum for some time now. So hello everybody!

I've been on the market for a 28i but missed out on the one mentioned earlier in this post. It's a shame you're asking so much as I'd have dived in.

Wishing you all the best with your sale.

If you revise your asking price just shout up.

Thanks

Can anyone confirm if all auto boxes are the dual clutch type or are those only on the 35is?

Hi warmasice,

The DCT is standard on the 35is, an option on the 35i only, all the other auto's are, I believe, 8 speed single clutch and DCT is not available on anything below the 35.

That's correct. That said, the 8 speed auto box is actually also really good (although not as much fun to shift manually with paddles)
