Hi Guys.

Due to looking to buy a house – yes unfortunately that old cliché - I have made the very difficult decision to sell my beautiful Z4 coupe. I am sure I will regret this but needs must and I have managed to get a very attractive deal on a new lease car that will allow me to free up some funds from this but doesn’t impact my ability to get a mortgage - Win-Win as they say – the casualty unfortunately being my beautiful Z4.

I have had my Z4 for 2 years now with the last 3 owners of the car all from forum and I would love it to stay on here if possible so that I can be sure it remains well cared for. The car is located just outside Buckingham, Buckinghamshire.

Up for sale as a 2006 BMW Z4 Coupe 3.0 Si 265bhp
6 Speed Manual in Silver grey with Oregon red leather interior

Current mileage: 100,050
Price: £SOLD

MOT until April 2017 – no advisories this year.

Other Maintenance in my ownership:
12.04.14 – Front wishbone bushes & suspension mounts
02.05.14 – Electric water pump replacement (genuine new BMW part purchased from main dealer). I would strongly advise that even if you do not go for this Z4 that you ask any prospective owner of a car between 70k+ miles that this has been done. With a genuine part and labour this is £700 and are known to fail
27.08.14 – 4 x grooved brake discs, 4 x pads (EBC Red Stuff), braided brake lines (goodridge), brake fluid change
26.01.15 – Inspection 1 + front ARB’s and wishbone replacement

23.03.16 – Headlight washer replacement & brake plate

Dash indicates 2,000 miles until next service or - Oil Service – a brake fluid change is also due in the next 2 months. I have taken this into consideration in the price and have not chosen to service myself as it gives the new owner the opportunity to have the car serviced by a reputable specialist of their choice or by BMW.

Purchased April 2014 from a forum member who also purchased it from a forum member so much of the cars history is accessible. Forum members I know of who have had the car are:

Car is in great condition inside & out. A real cared for example in the right colour with the right interior combo & the right extras, both factory & aftermarket.

Negatives:
For total 100% honesty/ transparency it is worth pointing out the following to any potential buyer. I would hate to waste your time or mine:

-Front fogs, both of which have ‘misted’ (condensation). This is a very common issue which I have not felt the need to do anything about
- Light curb marking on one rear alloy – I would love to blame this on someone else but is all my doing. It is only light and I will provide pictures later next week to any potential buyer.
- Small scratch between front grills – 3cm in length – not deep
- Small scratch near the rear of the car – 3cm in length – not deep
- Sunglass holder clip has partially broken although can be secured manually quite easily and still used
- Drivers side cup holder does not work – although passenger side is functioning fine
- Some light marks near the gear stick on the trim – perhaps from a watch scratching
- Slight wear on steering wheel. If I was keeping the car myself I have seen the great work that Royals can do and would be tempted with a tri-colour stitched wheel
- Slight wear on driver’s seat bolster. I have a colour matched enhancement kit which will be included with the sale. I bought to do myself however haven’t found the wear bad enough to warrant myself.

Please do not be put off by the mileage, these engines are virtually bullet proof and this really is a great car that has been well looked after by enthusiasts for the majority of its life. The car has been used as my daily driver and it really is a pleasure to drive it daily – especially with the heated seats in the winter .

Comes with complete user manual/ service book set & spare key.

HPi clear. Feel free to do your own check (YF06 UTW). A private plate was put on which was flagged by the HPI check when I purchased the car but this was on a different car at the time of incident and transferred to the Z4 at a later date.

All in all a great, well cared for car with full BMW service history, a few great additions that want’s for nothing.

Please feel free to PM me and I can provide email, phone and address details as required. I am a genuine seller and have tried to be as accurate and complete with the above description as possible.

Now on Ebay & Pistonheads so be quick :)

Thanks

Jonny

Someone's heading for a good deal there Jonny , it looks a treat , reads well & as mentioned 100k is nothing to be scared of , shame you are selling up but bricks + mortar should always tip the balance

Lovely car OP, and the price looks very good with that spec and history!

It ought to sell pretty quickly, but good luck anyway.

The only negative I can see is that it wasn't for sale last month when I bought my Montego Blue one. :(

Lovely car!

If you were interested I would happily take the CSL wheels, if you still have the originals!

Thanks all for the great responses!

Z450 unfortunately I have no other wheels/ tyres so the CSLs will remain with the sale.
