Hi - The Z has gone and the OH has now decided that she fancies a change and will not be getting another bmw, so we have these wheels with winter tyres for sale. I bought them from someone on here four years ago.
They are BMW Style 67 wheels - originally from the E46 3 Series they are 18 inch wheels and are staggered.
We are now asking £450 collected for them.

As they were Bright red when I bought them, the first job was to sort that.
They were shot blasted, checked (all good, no cracks or repairs) and powder coated in Anthracite by a wheel refurbishment specialist - Total Wheel Works in Nottingham and I have the receipt.
I had them powder coated as opposed to Spray painted, as in my opinion it is a tougher finish more suited to the harsher environment winter wheels have to work in.

The tyres are Vredestein Wintrac Extreme S Giugiaro Design and have all got loads of tread left, as we barely used the car in winter, except for crisp Sunday Morning drives, and Linda's occasional trip in to town or wherever, when I was away - as these wheels were on a second car.
Here are pictures of the tread with wear markers indicated.

As you can see - Inside and out, they are in excellent condition, with the exception of one small scuff on the outside of one rim which is shown here.

Finally, A gratuitous full car shot. I think this had just come off the jacks when I changed them over, which may explain the slightly excessive gap between tyre and arch.

Back up for sale thanks to people on ebay agreeing to buy them and then checking if they fit :)

No chance of posting these? I have been keeping an eye out for a set at sensible money but people seem to want far too much on ebay.
Notts is a bit far to travel to collect particularly at this time of year near xmas

What age are the tyres? Looking at the photographs it looks like at least one has a DOT stamp of 2905 which would indicate that they are from 2005?
Also just noticed you had an M coupe so wondered if anyone knows if these will fit a 3.0SI?!
Thanks
Adam

Hi Adam, . They were bought on the wheels second hand in 2013, I replaced one tyre a couple of years ago due to a puncture. When not on the car, which was garaged every night, they have been stored at the back of the garage which has no windows. I'm sure the winter days where we did use the car did not expose the tyres to much UV at all - which is what makes tyres perish.
As you can see there is no perishing rubber to be seen, I have not added any tyre product to make them look shiny or hide any perishing.
The tyres are dated 15,12 and 05x2
We have used them for three winters and they have greatly increased the grip available compared to the Michelins and Falkens on the standard wheels - when it was colder.

For Fitment the wheels are - according to RealOEM
Fronts 8Jx18 ET47
Rears 9Jx18 ET26

You would need to check for your vehicle that these fitted.
They were OEM fitment on an E46 M3

I had the same set with winters on my M and they rubbed slightly at the rear so I'd imagine with a non M that would be even more pronounced. Lovely wheels though, light and strong, would make a good track set for someone. m3cutters forum obviously the best place to sell these but you need 50 posts before you can. GLWTS

Had no rubbing on ours. Standard suspension. Were you running std suspension?

They've provsionally sold now.

Good news
I guess the rubbing was due to a combination of me running the (factory spec) 255/40 rear as opposed to your 265/35 (about 1" smaller in diameter) and I may or may not have at the time had the eibach springs on that are a 10mm drop or something I think.

Well it looks like that extra inch in total makes all the difference between slipping in there untroubled and rubbing where it shouldn't.

:o

Hi TalksTheTorque,

I’m still getting my head around offsets and I’m running a standard e85, so currently think these will fit but I’m not sure.

What Z4 did you have these on?

Car shown with them on is a ZMC which has different wheel fitments to non M E85 E86
The rear 9j et26 is the slight problem , almost as style 224s ( rears 9j et 30) they will go on technically but imagine the standard rear wheels with 30mm spacers & that's where the wheel face will sit on your car . Not totally impossible but "pokey "

Thanks for the info Mr. Wilks.

I’m guessing when you say pokey, you’re meaning they’d be pretty close to the outside of the arch and close to rubbing?
