For Sale: Netbook, USB-OBD2 Cable & Preinstalled BMW Software

Hi guys,
I'm selling the Z4 and this might as well go too

It's an 11" Samsung Netbook, the silver K-Line and D-Can switching cable from ebay and all the dealer software pre-installed.

I've used it to code AUX into a BMW Business CD and turn off: EML, Check Engine, Airbag, ABS, Low tyre pressure, Traction Control and Brake warning lights! (Cat D problems!!)

I've only used it on an E85 but with different changes files, you'll manage almost all from almost all years.

Based in the midlands.

£100 posted.

willing to sell just the laptop?? i have the cable .... ;-) Drop me a pm, I'm midlands based also! :-)

if you split and sell beedub just the laptop, I would possibly be interested in the cable, is there anything else I would need (like software etc?) for my own laptop?

also whats actually possible with this cable, just the basic coding (I want flash on lock/unlock etc) and or/diagnostics?

ive got a 2008 2.0 E85 if that makes any difference.....?

Hi guys,
I'll split, no probs. £80 laptop and £20 cable seems fair.

You can do everything a dealer can apart from coding keys to cars. (You can however code options to keys).

It has:
INPA v3.01 (diagnostics)
DIS v57 (diagnostics and fixing)
TIS 3.4.2 (like official Haynes manuals)
SSS Progman v32 (programming, coding, retrofitting options)
NCSExpert v3.0.8 (like SSS Progman but more powerful and without the graphical interface)
NCSDummy 0.6.0.6 (helps understand NCSExpert coding files)

@Jingle:
People tend to use a separate laptop from the one with family photos on as the software runs best on 32 bit machines with XP (old) and dominates your registry and computer generally. A separate partition may be an option for you.

It also takes a weekend to install everything!

You'll be able to diagnose your 2008 e85 with this kit and also code the flash options by changing one line of code in one module using NCSExpert. The code will say something like 'flash blablabla-NICHT AKTIV', and you'll just remove the 'NICHT'.

Further reading definitely required on this but the kit here is capable of it.
