I purchased the car from Sytner BMW Leicester in 2008 when it was 6months old. It has 1 previous owner which was BMW UK as it was on their management scheme. It comes with both keys plus the plastic one, and the original leather wallet with the books. The car is standard with no modifications.
It has been fastidiously looked after, and I purchased the 5yr maintenance and service pack so it has benefited from a full BMW service history, brake fluid changed at 2yr intervals etc. The last service was a big inspection 2 carried out at Cooper Boldon, so the next one is an oil service, due in approx 10k miles. It has been totally reliable, with only the rear springs being replaced under warranty a couple of years ago which is a common weak point on e46 era suspension.
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 2 tyres, with good tread all around, also 2off spare Falken winter tyres for the rear.
The car is in good condition, alloys unmarked, there are a few stone chips at the front but it’s commensurate with the car’s age. I had it professionally detailed last year by Dave at DDB detailing so the paint is sealed and waxed and fully protected - so just needs routine washing and wax top ups.
The alloys and interior were also sealed so only need to be wiped and they shine. The blue looks great, as do the contrasting split colour individual seats – in my opinion the best colour combination.
In summary it’s an excellent car, great to drive, quick and reasonably economical for the performance and has a brilliant spec. It’s been my pride and joy so has been well looked after, well maintained and I ensure the engine is up to temp before going over 3k rpm. The only reason i’m selling it is because I’m fortunate to have an M3 on order so it’s time to send the z4 onto a new home. So no part exchange. The price is based on the condition of the car, it’s spec and the fact it only needs an oil service next. If there are no takers I will just trade in the z4 against the new car.
I’ve tried to cover all bases, but feel free to ask further questions.
