Wish they made a set for the ///M :(
Im thinking of buying another set and painting them imola red,
The orange doesn't stick out too much on the red as it does on other colors but its still ugly
 
If you are going to get a set painted for your M, lemme know. I'd be interested in a group buy/paint. :) Maybe it'll lower the cost of painting.

I'm actually not too bad with the old paint gun myself,
I'm planning on buying a bit of Imola red from the BMW parts counter and a pair of Orange reflectors,
I don't think the orange ones are that expensive but being BMW they might surprise you lol

If I can get a decent look from it I'll let you know and I'll paint a set for you,
I don't mind the rear reflectors as they go with the car and at least they light up lol, the front have got to go :P

I think Tischer BMW online sells them for under $18 per orange reflector. I'm interested in changing only the ugly orange ones. I agree about the rear side marker lamps - they look just fine with our Imolarot car.

If you're able to manage ~$50 per set or less, I'm all in. :D
 
Rick you know anywhere online that sells BMW paint in a can cheap?
I know they sell it at BMW but it might be a bit pricey
 
Hmmm... got me on that one. I'll have to do a little bit of research. Lucky for us, Imolarot's not metallic, so finding the colour should be easier. Worse case scenario, you could always bring your towhook cover to a paint shop and have them match it.

Find out what shop does the bodywork from your local BMW dealership, then call them to find out where they get their supplies. Some paint, meaning not all, can be supplied custom in a rattlecan. You'll need that and some spray clearcoat and you are on your way. Or buy some in a small can (they will mix for you) and hardener and use an airbrush....then clearcoat.

that's my tuppence worth.
