hmm I guess 2.0s are not popular on here, am I asking to much ?

valuations saying 14000 - 14400 thought I would ask 14800 then haggle down

Zukunft - i dont think its anything against 2.0 - i think its the spec which counts when it comes to resale.
is your price competative on the likes of autotrader and pistonheads?

I would make your advert really standout and differenciate between standard and extra options so people know what "extra" they are getting
Shots of the inside will also help!

Zukunft- Bad Times mate hope it all works out for you.

Actually - i dont think it is. Prices are going up but the issue is people who are wanting finance cant get it - double edged sword.
Like i said, price it competativly and it will sell :)

I think AlanJ might be referring to the work problem Zukunft mentioned.

Sorry to hear you are having problems mate. I've got the zhp gear knob today and I can say it was sent very quickly, new as described and had no prob putting it in. Hope things improves for you.

Its at the top end TBH.....Parkers, which is pretty close to Glass's, shows the highest private as £14,085 in top nick. Yours clearly is, and with lower mileage, but that means you're starting out at the high end, for a car thats just gone out of warranty. Maybe drop it a tad but give less away when you do the deal?

Good luck though, we've all been there mate.

i priced it at 14995 then i could haggle the 995 really i would be happy with 14000 but if i started at 14000 i may get haggled to 13400 or something i may reduced to 14495 then haggle the 495 not sure really

well im confused,

its a ebay at 14495
exchange and mart
pistonheads

and i have a professional sign in the car parked at work

i have had 1 call and that was a friggin canvasser

looks like a direct sale to bmw is on the cards

What will BMW off you ? Whatever it is, readvertise at a price between that and your asking price now

getting interest is half the battle, price it well and dont be haggled down too much. if you want 14k id just price it at £14250, then if its a deal breaker just say they can have it at a flat £14k. i did this but to a lesser value car i sold, first viewer bought it cash on the spot, i wanted £1600 for it, put it on autotrader for £1850 with a set of very good pics after i had spent a few hours cleaning it. it was a tidy motor and i priced it between trade and mint private price, but was due a cam belt and i knew that cost around £200. i think these days buyers know what something is worth, so starting too high puts them off.

good luck with the sale

its on autotrader now for 14495 will see how this goes

if all this does not result in a sale i will be crashing it on purpose and claiming on the insurance nelson piquet style

I'm really sorry to hear your plight mate. I'm enjoying the zhp I bought from you.

Hope thing will get better soon. Stay strong mate!

Really clean looking car! On PH, if you can, you may want to swap an exterior shot for one of the interior. Also I didn't see air con / climate control or AUX (iPod / MP3 connect) in the spec, I don't think - I'd make sure everything is listed for those that don't know about Zeds. Be careful where you're advertising "Corrected", here we know exactly what you mean, but to someone else it might sounds as if you've corrected a fault. Maybe add time to next service - assuming its not 100 miles! Just a thoughts. That said, I think it's just going to be a question of time.

Mate, hope things turn around for you... fair play for making the difficult decision to sell!

suggestions appreciated and ive changed the pistonheads advert..

the crashing comment was a joke btw im not that desperate yet

although today i did go to fords of winsford (what a s hole)

they did however have a nice 2007 fiesta

asked about px value of Z4

they said 12250 at that point i left obliviously
