Hi Guys and Girls,

I've currently got this up for sale on ebay for £1000 ono

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161464472830?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Currently having a fight with myself to keep it on there or go through the insurance, any advice would be greatly appreciated! :headbang:

I picked up my Z4 last Saturday to replace it

If you can get a grand for it, snatch their bloody hand off. You can pick up an unbent one ( or even an E46) for less than this.
Do you have the space to break it? You'd probably get more money for it. Although it moght be more hassle.

I don't have the space for it as it's taking up my Z4 space.

I get your point but it was worth a lot more then £1k before the accident

To be honest I don't go by dreamers on PH I went by the glass guide

That shape, that colour considering the roof stills works now and pre accident condition she was in good nick

I know I won't get that price, the whole point was gauging interest and seeing what I would offered. At the end of the day if it's easier to go through insurance I will I'm just trying to get some opinions

Have a look on autotrader.

There are a fair few examples which are not bent up for less than a grand.

The amount of work and parts it needs to sort it make your asking price unreasonable IMO.

Sorry if this is not what you want to hear but I just want to give you a steer as it is your car and you may be emotionally attached to it but the fact of the matter is that the damage means the car is a write off.

Cheers for the info guys, I guess it's a point of looking at the glasses guide again and what else is about and figuring out if it's worth going through the insurance

Forget glasses guide with such things, check out the market by autotrader, pistonheads, etc.

If you choose to go through the insurance, they will offer you a low ball number and the only way to get them up is to show them other examples which are comparable on autotrader, etc and argue that they are therefore offering you under the cars true market value.

There seems to be a big scale of prices

Mine was a lot better then that in much better condition with lower miles

Again with this one, less mileage better colour all round just better condition plus mine is a sport model

I guess it's swing and round-a-bouts really
