Hi,
I've been told we're having a shed clear out to raise funds for our wedding... So this along with many of my things gets to go a lucky forum member.
I was going to upgrade the lacklustre audio setup in my 2.0i with this lot of audio goodness. Never quite got as far as fitting it all and now I never will.
The kit contains the following items;
1) Hertz ESK 163L 3-way component speaker system. It outputs 250W and has speakers that replace the tweeter in the door, the speaker in the footwell and adds a speaker to the door. This is brand new as you can see in the pictures, I did test fit a speaker in the door just to check it was the right size. There is a how-to in the audio section that uses these speakers.
2) Massive Audio Nano Block NX4 Amplifier. It outputs 4x100W rms but I was going to bridge it(2 x 200W rms) to run the front speakers above. It is the smallest amp I've come across with enough power output to make things loud enough for a roadster
It was part of a system installed in a Lambo that was removed to put it back to standard. I did test it when I bought it and it powered up and sound comes out. Dimensions: 10"L x 5-1/2"W x 2-1/8"H
3) Silent Coat vibrodamping 20 sheets bulk pack. I was going to line the inside of the doors with this stuff while I was installing the speakers. It will stop the doors vibrating when the speakers are installed. It will also make your doors sound solid when you close them. Brand new never opened.
4) Butyl tape to reseal the waterproof membrane on the door once the speakers, wiring and vibrodamping is installed
5) Fli Line Level Converter. This will convert the standard speaker wiring into pre-outs for wiring up the amplifier
This whole lot is yours for £300 collected or £315 delivered via 48 hour courier. Offers considered.
