Thanks for the Feedback guys - yes i didnt realise that such a badge could cause such discussion. I think it detracts from the point of my thread - which is the car for sale...

Ive not been on this forum much and I dont consider myself to be any way shape or form an expert on cars or indeed bmw z4's. I had thought i would advertise here in the hope that someone would like to purchase - unfortunately that doesnt look to be the case.

Thanks for those that have been positive in their comments.

See, this makes me sad, and a little mad :x - this Forum is better than this. Chap wants to sell his car, it's a lovely example - and we turn into a primary school-yard on his thread. Shame on you all

klewis - get the mods to lock this thread, whip off the badges, and stick another thread up with some new pics - unless of course it's too much hassle, which would be understandable :(

If I was in the market for a coupe then I'd be very interested, so there must be somebody on here who is at least a little interested. Good luck with the sale, whether on here or somewhere else

+1

I think the M badges look great, actually thought about doing it to my Sport Coupe - who cares whether its an M, if you like the badges on, put them on!

The badges would not put me off buying this car, which by the way is a lovely looking vehicle. Best of luck with the sale!

I think the accusations of this being primary school are bang out of order. If anything it's helpful advice. Consider the following:

Would like to sell to someone on the forum

Think everyone should chill about the ///M badges. Only those "in the know" appreciate what an M is. And anyone "in the know" will know that the car isn't an ///M by looking at the bonnet, or front/rear bumpers?
Quite correct. So, by pointing this out and having this discussion, I'm showing you that it would put off a large number of enthusiasts (but not all, obviously), myself included. Bing is quite right above. If you want to sell to someone who knows about these sorts of things then you shouldn't have them on. If you want to sell to someone on Autotrader who's looking to impress his mates in the works' car park, then that's a different story, but that has an entirely different audience to this place/PH, clearly.

This is typical of most for sale threads on this board. Loads of "experts "who have no interest in buying the car telling the seller why it wont sell.

The only people who should be making any comments are people looking to buy IMO

(and sorry to seller for being one of those people who are clogging up your for sale thread with needless drivle)

Badges!?! So what? You do know they can be taken off very easily

Actually, I read the rules last night, and whilst they are a little loose, they do state that only those genuinely interested in buying are allowed to post. But I am back in my box now :-)

Good luck with the sale,
Forget the badges argument, too many purists on here that would make falsely displaying an 'M' badge an offence. I have an M, it doesn't bother me and why should it.
Lovely looking car which I hope I have bumped up the list again. .

Nice one,

I'm posting and not buying the car, but that's gorgeous!! Great clean interior too.....now let me get my hands on it and give it a polish!! It looks amazing!

Many Many thanks guys for all the great comments - in an ideal world i would be keeping the car and would probably not have even shared the photos of the car.. however it is my position that i need to sell...

If anyone is genuinly interested - i can negotiate on the price - please message me.

Again thankyou.
