Hi All, due to spending the last year overseas on and off I haven't gotten as much use out of my Z4 as I would have liked so have taken off the road at the end of Feb this year and now decided to sell, the car is offered at a discounted price as there is some work required to get through its MOT to have it back in action but in general the car is in great condition and runs very well and has been excellent to drive these past three years.

The particulars about the car:

2007
M Sport
Silver
2.0L
Full leather interior
Heated seats
Reverse parking sensors
54,500m
18 inch alloys
Body work is generally in excellent condition (minus the below)

The Z4 is currently SORN with no tax or insurance, I have had one quote for the work to get through its MOT at £1600 however I am sure if you shopped around and/or had Z4 know how the price would be able to come down (a copy of the MOT quote and work detail is available), in addition to this there is minor body work which requires doing (see pics) to have the car back in excellent condition and the quote I received for this is £250 + VAT.

Happy to talk through in more detail any particulars about the car.

The items listed on the MOT for work for the Z4 to pass are:

Offside rear tyre below 1.6mm
Nearside and offside rear coil spring broken
Nearside and offside break pad less than 1.5mm
Offside front suspension arm has excessive play in a ball joint
Offside front (Bracket damaged) head lamp aim to far to the right

Total estimated cost from garage local £1600 (incl VAT), I am sure though this can be done cheaper by those with the right contacts.

The body work is shown in the photos but essentially there is a little bit of paint work missing on the front right bumper (no dents) where it rubbed against a post and on the same bumper an indent where a small kerb stone was hit at low speed - garage estimate £250 (+VAT)

You'd be able to sort those issues for under £1000 mate i would have thought that massive issues really, it may be worth doing them and selling sorted out i think you will easily get the money back for the work plus a bit more.
 
Thanks for that mate, I'm going to to keep it on as is for now just to see if anyone is interested as happy to sell as is, however if you (or anyone else on here) knows of anyone in the York area who is reputable who would be able to undertake the work to get its through its MOT for me for a reasonable price it would really be appreciated if they could let me know as I can start looking into it?

Its about a hours work to fit your self, a garage would charge you atleast £150 for that job
