They knew sharks before we did. My best friend saw them at a place called Kinetic Playground on north Clark in Chicago in early 69 while I was hunting Mr Charles in South Vietnam. He bought their first album and sent it to me as soon as he could. Many minutes were spent bogarting and listening to these boyz.

Not me I registered with every email address I could come up with and didn't get an invite.
I was ready to go.
I am sure that they will play a couple more shows. Just hope i can get tickets for one of those.

Yeah, but the likelyhood of them playing here may be remote plus it would be an arena event which would suck unless you spent the megabux for row 1-50 seats. (Perfect example of a run-on sentence!)

I mean this in a good way... you guyz are so old!!! Poison and Motley Crew were the rock bands of my time. :P

LOL. That's the way I typed it at first and it didn't look right... Hey! How did the drive go today. Any pics???

OK, OK, forgive me. I'm also post 1 bottle of 1997 Chablis and on my 3rd Vodka rocks. :D

Today has been a good day. 8)

Hammer of the Gods rule!!! Please let there be a world tour and a video DVD of today's O2 concert in stores next week. :oldman: :camera: :yu:  :crazydude: :w00t: :dance2:

A Blue-Ray video DVD would be my wet dream for the moment. :trampoline:

I saw them as a lead act for a Santana concert in Salt Lake City in 1969 and was blown away with their stage presence.

:oldman: (we need a smiley of the olde dude toking away sometimes)

While I stalked Mr. Charles in 1969 in III Corps, my best friend saw these guys in Chicago at the Electric Theater (soon after called the Kinetic Playground <don't ya luv the groovy 60's sound to that?>) mid summer. Called them astonishing considering they were extremely loud in a very very small venue.

Same friend sent me Led Zep I, I do believe we wore that vinyl out. Some good times.....
