Apologies for this question as it’s actually for my bmw e93 which I think shares the similar folding roof.
I have an issue with it where as when it closes it doesn’t latch and lock down the front. I’ve never had the issue before in nearly 3 years and can only link it to the battery being changed by Halfords a couple of weeks ago. Of course it maybe nothing to do with that as I can’t remember the last time I used the roof as it isn’t a daily car I use.
My question really is does anyone on here recommend some where I can take it too that at least understands the roof sensors etc?
I’m in Mansfield Nottinghamshire.
I’ve found a place on the internet cayman Autos that comes recommended but is a 3 hour drive from me
Any help would be appreciated
I intend on checking fuses etc but it was only apparent yesterday whilst someone was viewing whilst up for sale which needless to say was rather embarrassing
