Had the Z 6 weeks done approx 200 miles in it, started it up this morning drove it out of the garage and approx 50 yrds to park it up and mirrors wold not fold away :-?

Ant one else had problems with mirrors?

they only pop out automatically above 19mph? IIRC - 50 yards 'aint far enough!! :driving:

edit - just re-read your post.... do you mean they folded out when you drove, then would not fold in after you parked it even when you pressed the "fold" button? In tah case, i can't help you :(

Yep, wouldn't fold back away when i pressed the button to fold them up.
Ah... can't help you then.

I suppose it wouldn't be helpful to suggest buying a SmartTop module, that has autofold on lock then? :poke:

Happened to me once on one side only though, try giving them a gentle hand - worked for me and never been a problem since. Might even have been the M3 can't recall.

Tapatalking on my iPhone.......

Just put Z back in the garage and mirrors are now working?

I just think it don't like the rain, the alarm goes off when it first starts to rain also! and we are in the middle of a solar drought after all

BMW are aware of the alarm going off in the rain, there is a fix available from the dealers. Had mine done this week. The z4 i have on loan suffers the same thing.

Yes could be right there maniac, and that got me thinking of the smart roof module, i was ready to put my name to the group buy but i think i`ll hang back for now until i know for sure my roof problems are all done with, warranty n`all that.
