Folding mirrors discovered

I checked my spec using the vin decoder and it doesn't indicate I have folding mirrors. However, I do have them and pressing a button folds them in. Can this be changed to auto when locking the car?

I believe that folding mirrors are standard across the range these days.

Yep, they can be set to auto folding on locking through Idrive. I can't remember exactly how at present! :) I have found, however, that sometimes this function doesn't work and I have to do it manually. I'm going to take it up with the dealer sometime.
 
[ref]Kolobos[/ref], Hi Steve, if they fold via the button by the window controls then yes they are likely programmable; but you'll have to find someone with a Carly to program it in for fob activation.

With my electronics and technology background I'll probably look at buying the Carly equipment and do it myself.
