folding mirror module

Interesting our fiesta did this and it makes a lot of sense!! I will be watching to see how you get on if you get one.
 
Maybe I am missing something here, but how can my mirrors fold in with this module without fitting motors to the mirrors?
 
Would the standards mirrors not require additional mechanical motors to make them actually move. Along with the device in the eBay add?
 
You have to have electric folding mirrors for this module to work.

Think of it as a gaptech for mirrors.
 
I wonder if it can figure the difference between locking once moving and locking from outside the car. Wouldn't want my mirrors to unfold on unlock, then refold once I start driving...

Sounds good though as the built in hardware can't autofold which is really annoying - even the Intravee can't fix that!
