Foglight vs stone :(

Hi guys

Took the car out today and on the motorway heard a loud stone hit thought it was my windscreen but sadly was my foglight smashing!

It still works but the glass is cracked.

Do I have to replace the whole unit or is there anything else I can do?

Also if I do have to replace it where's the best place to go ( uk) can't find any online

Bad luck.

Whole unit needs replacing. Post facelift are about £90 each IIRC and available only from a dealer and worse is you need to fetch the bumper cover off to fit it.

If it's working keep an eye on Ebay as they often come up

There is an access flap in the wheel arch that is primarily there for changing the lightbulb. As PVR says you may be able to do it that way without removing the cover.

Pre and post facelift makes little difference, just the shape and location of the light.
 
20 minutes work for the last light I took out.

Bought an M not to have that problem again :D
