Fog lamps?

Can somebody help me with the part number(s?) for these foglamps?

The only ones I can find on RealOEM is these - which just doesn't look right?

Almost looks like a Hamann or Schnitzer kit body kit on that Z, you might try browsing their web site and see if they have some.

I've just switched the front end out on my Z4 from '03 to an '06 post facelift.

The realoem picture is of, as stated, pre facelift round lights. The photo is of a standard post facelift front, nothing fancy.

The grills look standard 3.0i grilles

Having just purchased a pair of the rectangular lights I'll be able to post part numbers tonight when I get home, unless anyone has some to hand

Thanks - that would be very helpfull. The angled lights looks very good and I might want to try them on.

The picture is borrowed(!) from the danish BMW site, so I'm quite sure it's OEM stuff on there!

OK
Left and right:
B63.17.7.162.739 Fog lamp
B63.17.7.162.740 Fog lamp

UK price as a guide is £70.41 plus VAT each

You also need 6 fixing bolts

They look like this a bit closer up:

It seems like I would have to change the light switch unit as well to get the actual fog lamp switch!

Does anyone know how to get that sucker out without destroying the alu trim around it?

Glad it helps

Never changed the switch so can't comment. Are you retrofitting foglights to a faclift front bumper cover that does not currenly have them?

As an aside the wiring loom and bulbs are identical for pre and post facelift so you can simply use what is already there. If you never had foglights before check the loom is in place.

Good point regarding the loom. It would be a retrofit but on an allready facelifted bumper. I was under the impression that prewiring where allready made for fog lamps, but I will have to double check for sure.

I need to get the light switch unit out to install the cruise control as well, so the little plastic sucker needs some punishment no matter what ;)

It does say something like that in the retrofit manual/instructions:

Fog Light Retrofit: "Program/code the fog light retrofit with DISPlus, MoDIC III or the GT-1 using the CIP application and follow the instruction in the program".

Cruise Control Retrofit: "Encode/Program the retrofit with SSS (software service station) via the Retrofit/CIP path.

Gulp! I don't know if these final steps are mission critical though?
