FM antenna amplifier

Hi
I have a 53 plate 2.5i automatic zed with a BMW Business Radio/CD
Reception has always pretty poor particularly FM radio stations. I understand from other comments on this forum that the AM amplifier is the one connected to the antenna under the passenger side rear wing, and that there is another FM antenna amplifier which is located by the battery compartment but I can’t find it as I am thinking of changing it.
So any advice as to where I can locate the FM antenna amplifier would be appreciated.

The Z4 has a diversity antenna system with one antenna in the rear bumper and the whip antenna you see on rear LHS wing. There is an antenna amplifier for the rear bumper antenna and this then feeds into the diversity module along with the whip antenna which has an amplifier built into its base.
