Flashing indicators

I am Elliot from NC.
New to BMW, new to Z4.
I have a 2004 Z4 with 110k miles.


Just bought a 2004 Z4 3.0 this summer.
One of the odd things that happens is that
When I 1st turn the engine on, the flashers
continue to flash for about a minute or so and then finally stop.

Quirk or short someplace?
