For future help to anyone .
I had a knock/pop come from my drivers seat if I accelerated or brake hard.
I worked out it's the car floor pan under the seat flexing. If you lift the carpet flap up under the seat, you can push the floor pan and you can see and hear the thin pan flex/pop.
With the seat all the way forward I lifted the carpet flap and put a bit of rolled up cloth under the flap. As the seat comes back the motor seems to push the hump down enough to stop the floor pan flexing.
