[*] hi. tried several attempts at repairing the roof lining where it is attached to the roof frame by rivets through the plastic strip 
. doh! stupid design.
anyhow this is what I've done. first drill out the rivets in the frame(make sure you stuff a rag or similar underneath to catch the rivet head and stop filings going down to the drain hole). next i made slotted holes the same size as the plastic cable tie(used a drill, make sure you don't make a hole in the lining). the next bit is fiddly but can be done. thread the cable tie as shown in photo, put your hand up between the lining and roof,feel for end of cable tie and pull tight(i used a pair of long nose pliers to pull it up tight. yes i know iv'e used red cable ties as this shows up better for taking photo's, use black for yourself then they shouldn't show so much. hope this helps someone
