Fitting Z4 m rear bumper

I am thinking of fitting anZ4(m) rear bumper to my 2004 E85 and thinking of possible solution for the need to fill the second hole . Is there any off the shelf exhaust that will fit or is it a matter of fabrication. If it is the second option, does anybody know of somebody in the Lytham, Preston, Lancashire able to do this

you will need the following to fit a Z4M rear bumper to a pre-facelift:

1. Facelift rear lights
2. Rear light plastic frame (body coloured)
3. rear bumper mount - facelift version or cut down yours.
4. undertray to fix lower center section
5. quad exhaust back box
6. Alter wires in lights plug
7. code car to switch of T effect & change from 6v to 12v supply.

Is there anybody on here who has tackled this mod and has some pics or can give me some idea of the cost?

Rough costs depends on where you buy the parts new or second hand

Rear bumper £200-300 + painting if needed
Brackets and fixings £50 - 150
Rear lights second hand £150- 250
Exhaust £250 -750 depends on quality
Coding should be free + some beers

Thanks for that, let the search begin, I have already picked up a bumper that will need to be re-sprayed, just need to sort out the other bits now, not in a mad rush but would like it done before the end of summer. Any tips on what brackets etc I will need and where to get an exhaust?

ordered the used bumper off Ebay yesterday for £198 and at 7.30am this morning it was delivered to my door, cant beat that for service. Will need to have it resprayed, but the search is on now for the rest of the parts I need. Was thinking about putting a dummy set of exhausts on one side to give the look, without all the hassell of trying to fit a Z4 M quad exhaust

Doing the quad exhausts is usually the main reason for converting to the M bumper. You seem to be about to go through quite a lot of change and fettling just to end up putting a dummy exhaust on. Is it because you really like the look of the M bumper and facelift lights? :?

You have it in one, from a style point of view it looks a lot more symmetrical with the quad exhausts, I don't know what other people think, I am not looking to impact on the performance, just the look

Fair enough then. There are plenty of others who have gone down this path, and I don't think you have to spend too much to get a working solution. It won't be split from the front like the M's but will give you a 'working' quad system that should look good I reckon.
