Fitment question for E89 Z4

Hi all,

I've done a bit of digging but cannot find the answer to my - most probably very basic question.

I'm looking for 19" CSL style after market replica wheels. I have an E89 3.0 M Sport Z4. I've seen numerous CSL reps on CMWheels and BMAuto Sport but get overwhelmed with the various different width / fitment /offset combinations. That's after filtering the wheels to show only those which fit a Z4.

For example, will all three of the above fit to my car without any adjustments required? Can anybody tell me explicitly which combination of variables will guarantee a fit?

I guess another question is why one of those sets is £200 quid more then the other for a very similar design. Any reccomendaitons on brands?

Once it's on the car I plan to throw on some coilovers and spacers to fill the arch.

Answer is yes they will all fit but the ones with the front 8.5 offset 40 or 38 may need a 10mm spacer for wheel face to sit well ( & also to clear suspension strut as they would be 17mm closer on back face than standard E89 alloys )
The pricing is due to the cheapest being a replica set of wheels as opposed to the others being aftermarket wheel manufacturers
The avantgardes look the best of the 3 but have a 10j rear so be ready for some big rubber needed there :cry:
The Dare again are a nice wheel but possibly spacer needed on front ?
Ive got some 19s with et 38 coming for my own E89 so hopefully get them on at weekend & keep you posted :thumbsup:
 
I'm new to the E89 but I would not expect problems from the above info
Getting the tyre sizes right will also factor

Had a bit of a think and I think I'm going to run the following staggered set up on the Avant Garde M359's

19x9 Front
19x10 Back

Tyres will be 255/35/19 on the rears for a slight stretch on the 10J width.

What i'm confused about is whether i'll need spacers and how flush the wheels will be if I lower on KW1's. I guess this is something I will have to do then see? Want to avoid rubbing, is there a way I can calculate this on the e89 arches?

Cheers for the link. Here are my results.

Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 10.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 14.7mm more than before.

Poke 74.3mm 89mm
Inset 154.3mm 165mm
Speedo error 0% -3.86%
Reading at 30mph 30mph 28.84mph
Reading at 60mph 60mph 57.69mph
Ride height gain 0mm 12.75mm
Arch gap loss 0mm 12.75mm

I think it seems okay... will break out a ruler when I get home today. Need to work out if I need springs or not.
