Arrogance like that is what is bad about Motorsport....always some know all who hasn't a clue thinks they do have. If they're so good why aren't they getting paid to drive for a team. :wkr:

the oldies are always the most brutal ! lol

Used to see it so often when I pit crewed for a local single seater driver in historic racing, some ego's were laughable.

Don’t be giving yourself a hard time bud, been a long time since you’ve been driving like that

Re the tosser comment about a slower car, same answer I gave you about the tossers and the eBike f**k them :D

Thanks buddy! ive gotten over it now, lol.... i was just having a abit of the bad day with it, however now its over and done, i can look back and say i thoroughly enjoyed the day..... Im going to book a donny evening track session next, something abit bigger so i can build up slowly. The tighter technical stuff is alittle too difficult at the moment, HOWEVER i can say the car feels darn right rude, absolutely unreal and im CERTAIN i can feel a tangible difference loosing the stock seats, but then again... that may be the butt dyno over egging it.

Like you say a bad day. Too be expected after time out and illness. Heck I beat myself up that I can't keep up with 20 something's walking up a mountain, after being out for 6 months. Stick with it, you have come back from much more difficult challenges than a scrappy day at the track.

Give yourself a break Beedub!!

For what its worth - I felt exactly the same going back on track after COVID. With all you’ve dealt with, you should be really proud that you’re back at it. Things will get better - take your time, avoid the ‘all the gear no idea’ crowd and enjoy your fantastic car at your own pace…. :driving: 8)
