I can't stand being a newb but everyone has to start somewhere i guess, anyway here are the details...

Name is Billy and i bought a cpo Z4 3.0si last November after trading in my 2000 Audi TT coupe. always wanted a Z4 so i finally went for it!
Sadly the car is not a manual like my TT was but for the price and time i didn't care (still don't really) about going auto, i do drive with the paddles 99% of the time maybe cause i just can't let go of the control thing...Hmmm :driving: The car is loaded with everything but extended Leather and i am in the Process of getting rid of all painted silver from the interior (knob and door handles are to stay silver for function over looks).

mods that i have done to date..

Steering wheel replaced with the M sport wheel

K-40 installed with Amber led' to match the interior lighting

Ultra Suede Gauge covers

part of the interior change is going ALL carbon fiber and it should be finished in a few weeks.
right now i have the door pulls installed

I also have installed a stubby ant and have clear front corners going in when i put my 108 summer wheels back on (it's actually snowing in Chicago right now!). i also installed first aid boxes under both seats.

here is the Car (or "Shark Bait" as i named her) in winter form with 17 inch wheels and Blizzaks on

and this is what she (and i) look like in summer mode. this pic was taken when i bought the car and the salesmen was going over what the interior buttons do and such..aww our first pic together!

in a few weeks i will have the entire dash trim replaced with Carbon Fiber so now i am just playing the waiting game..

i had this forum in my bookmarks since November 08 so i think its time to say HI!!!! it's actually one of the better forums i visit!

Nice set of interior mods. Look forward to seeing it when complete

Welcome, the car looks good. We're the snow pics taken yesterday? It's hilarious to me we're still getting snow this late - I switched to my summer tires 3 weeks ago (might have something to do with it). I think I passed you on LSD once - I recognize the wheels.
