Hi everyone
We're going on our first ever euro road trip in 3 weeks time.
Ultimate destination is Rome (where we turn the car round) but taking in the following itinery
Home (midlands) > Strasbourg
Strasbourg > bregenz
Bregenz > Davos > as many passes as possible (advice?) en route to modena then Bologna
Bologna > Florence (taking old road next to main autoroute - an EVO favourite apparently)
Florence > Assisi > Rome
Rome > Pisa > Milan
Milan > Freiburg
Freiburg > Bruges
Bruges > Home
So - any tips?? What to take, how to route plan, things to absolutely not miss??
I've got the disposable breathalysers, Fluoro jackets, bulb kit, warning triangle. Was going to take a ltr of oil. Have just serviced the car, changed brake pads all round and done a brake and clutch fluid change. (also have cleaned the throttle body too).
It's a real half and half holiday - wife wants to do Rome and Italy culturally (which I don't mind too) and I really want the driving to be my memories.
Have fitted the BMW storage net to the passenger side of the transmission tunnel to help a bit with storage.
Come on you veterans - what do I need to know??!
