Hi
Just picked up my first ever BMW looked at lots of different makes and models before deciding on Z4 originally fault I wanted a V8 manual roadster looked at Mercedes SL class and SLK V8 jag f type, Audi R8 decided to much outlay for a 3rd vehicle.
Spent 14 years in Canada and the USA owning 3 Corvettes really are great cars very easy to mod last one 630 RWHP shortened gears managed 1/4 mile in just under the 10 second mark. Will eventually go back and do a mammoth road trip in a C8 mid-engine but for now had to scratch the itch. When we came back to UK brought a Audi SQ5 fast in straight line but no sports car.
So drooped had to be a V8 always had lots of good comments on straight six BMW so looked at Z3 M nice car but a little too tight in the cockpit for me and suspension to hard and unforgiving.
Moved on to Z4 just right size for me tried a 35is DCT which I fault I would hate, and want a stick, but no must admit it's great very quick changes. At this time was looking at lower mileage examples but with the used car market at the moment seemed pricey so ended up buying a trade in from a dealer with higher miles 95k
Had a few issues that I was aware off on purchase first one sorted with a new battery still had original battery drove it 300 miles home and it was fine so time to hit some nice a and b roads then a few mods, but am very impressed with engine gearbox combo feels more than 340 bhp
