first blast in the mc of 2014

had not used the M for over 6 weeks so even tho roads were wet and mucky decided to take her for a blast up to castle motors, our local performance car specialist, had been on trickle charge so wasnt worried about her not starting but thought she may be a bit lumpy, neednt have fretted as she roared into life and from the first second sounded and ran as smoothly as if i had driven her yesterday. cruising along on the a30 bodmin bypass at nearly 80 and a car a fair way back flashed me to move over, there was traffic on the inner lane that i was overtaking so couldnt pull over , plus i was already doing 80 , so gave it a quick blast to a hundred and then pulled into inside lane , soon the car overtook , it turned out to be an astra, never ceases to amaze me how some drivers fly along for miles way over the limit, anyway we came to a slight incline so into fifth and gave it a squirt, one twenty like s shot, then up ahead i see blue lights flashing in the bumper of a volvo estate in a lay by, having just pulled over another bmw driver in a 5 series saloon. remember people, be careful out there !, coupe went like a dream to liskeard and back, love this car.

i love speed, but nowa days just to risky to speed anywhere cameras, patrol cars etc etc, 30 is 30-40 is 40-50 is 50-60 is 60-70 is 70 and a race track is unlimited the best fun of all
