FINALLY: white angel eyes on Z4 E89

today a got my angel eyes bulbs. after installing them i was very happy to see that they totally satisfy me although i lost my hope!

just a quick pic:

I may be the only one mind that actually prefers the yellow colour more, especially on my black car. Looks meaner from the front somehow! :P

I spotted a new X5 recently with the LED angel eyes, and they looked quite blue in colour :? Wasn't really impressed.

I'm really pleased with my 5800K GP Thunders that look a clean colour of white without approaching blue or being too dim.
 
looks great, miles better than those dim yellow lights i seem to see on new bmw's.

+ 1.totally agree, just the rear im not too keen on. I think the lighter colours help it though. and yes, white looks amazing.

I was surprised of the road presence of the E89 from the front when another one came up behind me at a roundabout and I saw it in my mirrors! 8)
 
One problem I think (personally) of the new BMW's with the white angel eyes is that from a small distance away in the day they are too bright so they just look like the lights are on as it whites out the angel eye effect! :?

exactly... but they still look sick!!!! i would swap immediately if possible!!
 
Those are very nice! I am trying to do the exact same but I can't seem to remove the H8 Bulbs from the housing. I got the clips off that connects to the H8 bulb but when i turn them left it moves a little bit and then it get stuck. Feels like its hitting something? How did you get your stock H8 bulb out??

BTW what brand LED bulbs did you put in there. It came out very nice! I'm jealous!!

Here is a pic of the Angel Eye location. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Finally got it out!!! I used a screwdriver for leverage while at the same time pushing it and it finally came out. Just install new bulbs and took some pics. Once i finish resizing I will post them up.
 
Hi guys I have the same problem as above! There are two pins in the away stopping me from being able to remove the drivers side bulb!! How do you get around this!!!
