FINALLY joined the club!

Monty now has the OEM wind deflector thanks to Usel and brand new centre caps thanks to Cotswolds.
The old ones were the worst I’ve seen!

More minor improvements…

Out driving yesterday I hit a bump and my wing mirror glass just fell out and smashed in the road.
Must have been a cheap stick on item?
I seem to still have a backing plate that I guess is heated. I assume I can pull this off and need the usual bmw mirror with the circular clips and the two heater connections?

there’s a catch you have turn with a screwdriver or similar that you can access by fully tilting down to remove the heated plate.

Thanks [ref]paddy wright[/ref], I did find a video where the guy removed the access panel and moved a clip although it wasnt that clear.
I’ll have a go tomorrow and check out some more vids.
Hopefully the mirror will arrive tomorrow too.

Managed to remove the mirror parts eventually.
Cleaned the exhaust yesterday and went for a drive.
