Lookin' good Mr.W. We're not too far from each other so can I ask who your Indy is? Just for future reference should something arise on my Z that I can't sort for myself

He's a pal & a top BMW fellow , ex BMW master tech of 20yrs who set up on his own & more importantly is the one who does the spannerwork .
Based in Grt Harwood (Blackburn) his biggest downfall is never answering the phone
Guarantee'd a first class job & no need to worry about being fleeced
I'l PM you his number

Still think 108's would look better :fuelfire:

Can't help it Steve , i'm an Aquarian & they always take the path least traveled  no doubt there may be other wheel's tried but these give the car a look & stance i wanted to achieve when i first agreed the deal with Simon
My Indy took his first look at the car today & said " look's great but need to lose the wheel's " :P

so if it was direct choice between coupe and roadster which would you now go for?

Been having a ponder & there is no definitive as i suspect most folks already know but in simple term's from a viewpoint i like the Roady with the roof down but the Coupe as it is  once inside facing forward the reflection in the wing mirror's of the humped rear arch is the same in either model so hard to even tell from behind the wheel  until the roof goes off then you get a "bonus" with the roady
Does that help ?
Are you getting tempted to follow the path ? 8)

I think the raody looks very good with the roof down, but I think all soft tops look er ...... with the roof up

I am happy to stick with me coupe :)

There's a realty easy answer to that one Taz.

Enjoy your Coupe.

That's how it starts Gav , then you need a bigger garage then you need storage

How many sets have you got at the moment?

Stock take
1 set of 108S went today leaving me with 4 sets of alloys in garage ( 2 with tyres on )
1 set of 108s to collect from powdercoaters tomorrow ( on hold for forum member)
+ a set of Mv1s to collect in the morning & a set of 18inch staggered style 32's being collected by courier tomorrow
& a dozen or so tyres of varying sizes but all decent tread & brand

Glad to see you are back in a Z even if it is ragtop :P Liking the wheels, as you said not to everyones taste.

Happy motoring :driving:

Thanks Chris ,
I knew i would have another Z after the coupe but wasn't sure what or when ?
After the Brera i was resolved to being without a weekender so whilst the roady wasn't planned i have to say i'm totally " converted " genuinely enjoying it & i can well imagine the increased thrill from the 3.2 M version
Hope the black C is behaving for you
