there are various similar products and different levels of quality on the market. I did have mine replaced once on the E89 because it stained when bug guts stained it. there must have been some acid or something in the guts. It was in a white car so it had to go and it was a warranty job. The others all have been great. Most of the Astons and Ferraris around here have the entire fronts covered , ( they also replace it every year because they have far too much money and couldn't be bothered waxing and polishing

I just had it put on my 2002 boxster S, looks great. If you get it done, make sure you get the rockers, mirrors and the "hips" done where the rear fenders start to flare out.
