the black rubber/vinyl/textured finish to the upper/lower dash & upper/lower door cards has been proving troublesome to clean & leave looking factory fresh .
tried the megular's interior detail & many other cheaper products but today finally cracked it .
Autoglym vinyl & rubber care . . in a spray bottle . . has left the finish top drawer IMO & won't be using anything else from now on

also bought some megular's tyre shine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Meguiars-Hot-Shine-Car-Tyre-Dressing-Spray-710ml-/260791052296?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Car_Care_Cleaning&hash=item3cb85ba808#ht_1620wt_1195 also excellent stuff .

i got snared in the buy 2 get third free offer in halford's :D

Might try that autoglym - I have Megs at the mo, and it just doesn't quite do it :(

Megs tyre shine though, agree

I haven't tried it, but Gummi Pfledge seems to get good feedback too
i have the gummi for window/door seal's but haven't thought to try it on the interior  scared it'l leave it greasy ?

Have been using the Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care stuff since I bought the car. It's excellent on the vinyl and rubber but a 'mare if you get it on the paint.

A little off beat, but I've been pleased with the results of leather conditioner on the dash. Still need to apply a UV screening protectant afterwards though. Autoglym probably works slightly better, but I like multiple use products, especially unintended uses.

We've gone OT, but since I doubt anyone would argue Auto-Glym isn't good stuff, and the OP contributed to the thread hijack, I see no problem continuing.

My latest favourite alternative use is bicycle chain dry lube for almost anything that needs oiling. Dries to a very slick, dry coating that doesn't attract dirt.

Personally I'd say look no further than this http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/poorboys-natural-look-dressing-16oz.php?manufacturers_id=16
