After a number of different 'weekend' cars finally come to my senses and purchased a 2003 3.0se.

After a month or so if ownership all I can say is wow what a great car and I am in wonder to how fresh and tight it still feels for a car if it's age...and it turns heads when I drive around. This was something that never happened with my old Boxster S.

Loving the car in black with offset black chrome alloys and angel eyes.... Looking forward to the warm weather again soon for some open top fun....loving the great forum and advice, already sorted the return to home position of my wipers thanks to great write up the forum.

Hi and welcome.

Clearly you are a person of massive taste and refinement getting a black roadster. And thanks for maintaining the newbie black roadster tradition of having a camera handy. Car looks very nice - I do like the wheels.

Enjoy :driving:

Hi and welcome. Think you might have a wait for some warm weather. But open top in winter with heated seats on is also hard to beat.

Welcome - lovely Z4. Which 'flavour' of black is it?
Sorry it looks like a bit of a wait before the weather's good for top down again, but it'll be well worth it.
Cheers.

Thanks for the warm welcome, great to see a good looking community of Black 4's....couple of little jobs to sort to get it back to perfect condition but that is the fun of ownership... Two items to tackle is a loose lower grill (thanks speed bumps) and the back of the drivers seat that will not stop on ( so annoying!!) Any clues to the seat would be appreciated :headbang:

There was a thread on here just recently (Within the last week or two. Try doing a search for it) about the seat backs not staying on. A couple of suggestions were made for a fix, but I can't remember what was the best solution.

hello and welcome love the head lights! and as for the seat backs my passenger one came off when i was doing 70ish  with the roof and windows down. under the back of the seat there are two plastic rivets and thats it the top has two locating clips which just slides up and under the upper metal frame of the seat where the leather is attached. so just replace the plastic rivets/clips at the bottom no more problems.

thanks
