I've bitten the (financial) bullet and just ordered a set of 18" Cades Bern Wheels and Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas to replce my 16" Star Spokes with the Run-Flats. Now I can't wait for them to be delivered!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I ditched the rear run flats last week for vredestiens, Fantastic difference, just need to kill the front ones now so I can change them too

sorry posted previous reply before I had finished :)

also meant to ask what tyre weld and compressor have you opted for as well as at the mo still on run flats but need to change soon

Which Vredesteins Beetlegav? I'm almost due for a change myself and the RFT's have altered my spinal geometry long enough.

Thumbs up from me for the Vredestein Sessantas..I have just ditched my Bridgestone runflats and the difference is like night and day..

No tramlining at all and the noise difference is amazing..

Mark..

You can go for cheap end mobility kits like this one for around £20...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SLIME-SMART-EMERGENCY-TYRE-REPAIR-KIT-TYRE-SEAL-12V-COMPRESSOR-/181151162881?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a2d736201

or try and get an OEM compatible like this...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bmw-genuine-tyre-compressor-mobility-system-7110-6792688-/221234577711?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item33829bc12f

doesn't have to be BMW but make sure the one you go for was designed for big enough tyres so there is enough gloop in the kit. I think mine is from a small Iveco truck. I hope I never have to find out if it works but at least there is something in the boot to try if I get stuck before I call the RAC.

I opted for settantas from camskill as they seemed the best choice from what people said and I'm not dissapointed at all.

Vredsteins seems like most choose Sessantas .I ditched my run flats 4weeks. Ago but went for Vredstein Ultra Vortis XL. I checked various forums and also tyre reviews and in my opinion Vortis came out on top . And my experience so far backs this up . Smooth running, quiet, fantastic grip, great in corners , and respond instantly when the foot goes down.
