The usual suspects - suspension, steering and braking components. To be expected from an 18 year old car I suppose.
Prevantative measures within the last couple of years include a new water pump and thermostat.
And also coil packs (Delphi), I was noticing a very occasional misfire but that's now gone away.
This year I had to replace the window regulator on the driver's side. Bought a good one from a breakers and then renewed the cables on the original for future use.
A couple of years ago I had to replace the head cover gasket and the plastic cover itself so that was quite an expensive job.
Dried up seals also broke the eccentric oil shaft sensor which was also a bit expensive to replace. I bought a Vemo one which has proved to be good.
I also had to buy a new sump not long after I'd bought the car. I think it had spent too much time in a damp garage without being used in it's early life. They are made of pressed steel so mine had rusted quite badly and was leaking.
Having said all that, The car has now done 98,000 miles since I bought it and is my daily driver all year round. They are great cars.
