filling the boot

i presume the hard cover is to stop people putting too much stuff in so the roof can still collapse safely.I will be using soft bags for our luggage,but presume i can push them right back in the boot area ,and make sure not exceed the red line label on height? I think thats how i understand it,if so more space than i thought

Correct…do not exceed the height limit..later E89s have a net there to stop you..the roof shells pac in there..

Ensure the lid is not pressing on the bags..

a) the lid may pop up and then you may be stuck with the roof unable to move

b) the lid brackets may fracture / crack…happens a lot..
