Hi Guys

In the armrest theres a space to mount a phone.

I know you can buy a part to fit your iphone in there but seen other phone models fit too.
Anyone know where I can get a list of what parts are available?
I know that having bluetooth makes it a bit redundant but just asking.

Also, seen this on flee bay

Worth getting instead of intravee?

Couple of things...

The armrest just connects your phone to an external antennae and charging. You still need Bluetooth working to actually use it. Tbh the cost of the armrest mounts are prohibitive and iPhone 4S onwards won't charge and I've heard may not even fit without further work

The BMW iPod kit is one solution, but not great. You get a minimal amount of control of selection of music etc. IIRC it only allows something like 6 playlists

The Intravee is not an iPod connection kit. It's a gateway device that converts iBus from the car to Alpine AINet allowing you to connect compatible Alpine audio kit. The vast majority of people then fit an Alpine KCA 420i iPod controller. The Intravee also allows some additional functions on the car without getting into programming the cars computers. 3 blink indicator flash, auto lock and unlock of doors etc. it has by far the best integration into the car if you have Nav

If you don't have Nav, then a Dice system maybe be a better bet

Thanks, got nab and have an alpine KCA 420i from another car so intravee may be the best bet, especially as its trusted by many on here
