Ferrari Testarossa vs NSX

Spotted on Pistonheads this morning and prompted memories of Outrun.

Both gorgeous....

I have driven both and it suprised me that the NSX came close to the testarossa in a straight line..
The Ferrari has brutal power....But it is massive and a bit unwealdly..
 
380 BHP..Is that what the testarossa was?

The one i repaired and drove had a decatted race exhaust fitted,it sounded exactly like an F1 car of the period..

The way it produced the power was someting else,much nicer then the 355's i have driven..
 
The Ferrari might have more cool factor. But one could take the NSX on a holiday drive without having an entourage of mechanics tagging along. I looked at a Ferrari forum a few minutes ago. And way back in 2005 the cost of the 30k or every 5 year maint. procedure was about 10k at a dealer. Yikes! I'll take the Acura.
 
Its a shame the Testarossa interior really has dated, but the rest of the car still looks great!

I must be in the minority but 380bhp would be far more than enough for me.

True, that 80's look is special and treally specific to the time. Personnalu I love it E30 M3. 90E Mercedes 2.5 cosworth Evo 2 batmobile, testarossa.
