Ferrari California

That exhaust is just daft, I'd expect it from a boy racers Corsa but on a Ferrari it's just lazy design.

I've never been the biggest of Ferrari fans (their F1 team don't help matters) but in recent years their designs have become even more bland. There seems to be little coherence between designs, like they don't know what direction they want to take. The California is far from ugly but it's not exactly beautiful either. If I ever win the lottery the Ferrari show room would be one of the last places I visit :fuelfire:
 
I can understand fake things like butterly valves to create a better noise but for to fake things like the actual exhaust is stupid for Ferrari to do as is you owned one you would of paid all that money and there will always be a time when you are comparing cars with someone and they bring up the fact of those exhausts.

Things like with the new Honda Civic having the triangle exhausts look cool but they are just for show also. I suppose Honda should be allowed to get away with such a thing though as it's a family car that's mass produced and wouldn't really be considered as a status symbol like the Ferrari would.
 
I think the car only looks bad by Ferrari's standards. If it were wearing BMW & Z4 badges, most of us would probably be saying how amazing it looks. Heck it even comes with the side gills.

I actually really like it, it's just the fake exhausts I don't like.

True what you say though, although price would mean a big difference in expectations.
