Ferodo DS2500 front pads for Z4M

I have recently changed the front brakes (rotors and pads) but couldn’t get the DS2500 pads to be totally silent. Ended up changing them after 1000 road miles as they squealed at low speed when applying light brake pressure (think high street driving). Swapped them for normal pagid pads, they don’t have the same bite but are always quiet.

The Ferodo pads are still virtually new, used only on brand new rotors so totally flat still. I remember paying around £130 for them or thereabouts.

Is anyone interested? £40?

If not I will probably keep them and get them fitted before a trackday if I take it to the track one day 😅

Said pads when new. I will take pics of them as they are if anyone is interested.

A bargain. Just out of interest did they come with any kind of shim? Did you try copper grease on contact areas?

No they don’t come with backing shims, I used copper grease as I always do. I have them on my clio williams and love them, they are completely silent on the williams with non-drilled rotors. But not in the z4m, they did my head in 😂
