Previously I had a 4S and the cradle I had was an arm that went under the passenger seat and held the phone to the side of the gear knob, perfect! Then had an iphone to 3.5m cable connecting to my inbuilt AUX port. (very neat)

I've just been given a 5 for free and need to either modify the existing cradle or buy new.

The purpose of this thread was to ask how everyone has cradled their own iPhone 5's, feel free to provide pictures/ links :-)

Many thanks.

A brodit holder released just before xmas
a wide selection to cover how you want to hold it
and beware a selection depending on the lightning cable
as the cable mount takes your cable .
I have the 30 pin to lightning .2m version and plugs into a BMW Y cable and then to aux and usb power socket
They also do the suitable mount for the specific model of car
