To keep everyone confused about where the good threads are hiding
Seriously - the threads in that forum link to the overall homepage http://www.z4-forum.com/ and although most people bookmark the forum page itself, others do land on there. It does make a nice change every now and then for those threads to be rotated.
A lot of people also browse using the "New posts" button at the top of the page, and using that means you don't really notice when threads get moved within the section.
And what constitutes a thread to be moved in there - who knows? Popular ones maybe? Open to suggestions :idunno:
Thing is, I now only ever browse the E89 forum (as we are getting one) and that thread was usually on the first page so easy to find. I went back about 10 pages before I realised it must have gone!
Similarly when I had the Z4M, I only usually browsed the 'M' forum.
Personally, I think it would be better where it was, but I realise modding a forum is difficult having done it myself, and you can never please all of the people all of the time.
I guess I need to start bookmarking threads that I want to follow
