Separate bank accounts is my recipe for a happy marriage, that and a joint account for joint expenses. That way no-one gets to complain.

Sounds good to me

+1 been doing that the last 17 years with no issues. As long as our joint bills get paid like mortgage etc from joint account we do what we want with the rest...

Haha , good post
When i had my aircooled 911 all works were done at local specialist Jasmineporschalink ,
For some reason you paid on pick up of car but he mailed out the invoices 8) The first time was a new double distributor for £540 & soon as he asked where to send the invoice i said >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> my parents address :P
worked a treat & all told spent over £1500 in a year getting it tip top with no pain in either ear :poke:
Everyone happy :D

Stealth purchases work well. I don't spot the dresses and shoes being shipped in and she doesn't spot car parts in the garage.

If that fails and you're caught just say -'oh that exhaust system [sub exact item] - I picked it up in the sales last year. I'm sure I showed it to you'.

Exactly! My fiancé didnt even notice I bought and fitted a set if 108's a couple days after I picked the car up, she still hasn't notice now and probably thinks I bought the car like it.

I am buying a few bits for for the Z at the moment, but I'm also spreading out the bits I want over a few months as were in the process of buying a house.

Lol @ stealth purchases - my wife's like a snifferdog for that type of thing ;)

I want to get my steering wheel refurbed, but there's no way! I'd need to send it off (if i use someone like royalsteeringwheels)

Maybe if i claim it was stolen, and the thieves only did 2 miles, and retrofitted a new wheel? ;)

Easy peasy, plug in your diagnostic hard ware and flash her memory via the headboard 2.1 app. I heard it's very successful after you've purchased something you shouldn't.....
