Just collected my wheels from the powder coating guy, very pleased with the finish/colour i chose.
Tyres fitted tomorrow.

The Veemanns are 8.5j & 9.5j which is half inch wider than the factory 326 wheels, I’ve got 235/35/19F and 265/30/19R tyres going on.
The powder coating place was in an old farm building round the back of beyond, well worth finding though as he refinished the wheels for £200 :o

Was that for just coating or any refurb done. Seems remarkably cheap for such a good looking result

How do you mean? That was for all 4 wheels to be stripped/blasted & coated in a colour of my choice

To be fair they were still in pretty good condition, the clear lacquer was just showing signs of weathering - i attempted to dress this up a little & that’s when it all went wrong

Am a bit disappointed, only two pics of fab rims

I look forward to when you’ll remedy that once you’re all rubbered up

Looking good Rob, do they offer a tyre removal/refit option or do they want bare wheels only?

Cheers, they do have a tyre machine but they’ve only just received it & the owner isn’t confident enough to offer the service yet!
They can get it done but it added £60 to the cost-I’ve found a local place that does removal/refitting/balancing for £10 a wheel, winner winner chicken dinner.

This place is only about an hour and 10 mins from me, so probably a lot less hassle than the place in Birmingham. More expensive, but probably worth it for the reduced travel time and general agro

What colour are they Roberto?
They look very much like 'Orbit Grey' but difficult to tell on my cheapo PC monitor. :)
