Hi guys
Looking to replace all four tyres soon, anyone done any scouting for the best online price of late????

£389 fitted at your home / work / where ever, balanced and valves from event tyres. i had mine done last week

Why buy them online? Just find your local Falken dealer and do a deal with them. My local Falken stockist quoted £80 a corner fitted and balanced for 18s.

If you bought Camskill, not only are they more but you've got to get someone to fit 'em (tyre depots aren't always keen about that) which adds another £30-40.

Aren't you running a 2.0 on a non staggered set up? If so that would explain it as the rears are way more expensive than the fronts £116 Vs £67 at Blackcircles.
I can see a local doing supply and fit on an internet £67 for £80, but not a £116 tyre discounted by that much.

If your local dealer can do a set for the prices you talk in staggered, people will be forming an orderly line with me near the front.

details, details, always with the details....

But I suppose my only point would be that its worth checking with your local Falken dealer first. If Camskill can do things for those prices, then surely others can?

trouble is your local fitter has overheads to pay, but if you needed them there and then you'd pay the extra, they were only £30 above what i paid with event. camskill probably buy in bulk, and i know my local fitter doesnt keep the sizes i needed in stock and had to order them in, so thats how they keep costs down.

i recently had a set of staggered fk452's fitted by the guys who refurbed my wheels he suggested i go to the local falken dealer first as was not too happy fitting tyres that they had not supplied so a phone call later the local stockist quoted me £490 fitted but wasn't too happy taking the runflats off the front without damaging the wheels, so went back to the refurbers and they said if i supplied the tyres they would fit them for £10 each so ordered from camskill £345 delivered and £40 for fitting, worked out £105 cheaper then the local stockist :D

Ha ha - of course - the devils in the detail....

Frankly I think the best bet is a tame local fitter who is prepared to fit non RFT's on, take care of the wheels, etc. and charge a reasonable rate for the work alone. You'll never beat an online supplier who has volume and real no overheads.

I agree and happily paid £25 more to use local fitters I knew I could trust.
