Falken 452 Tyre Pressures?

Hi All,

I swapped out my 18' RFTs for Falken 452s on my 2004 3.0i Z4 a couple of weeks ago.

Whilst I have experienced a marginal improvement in ride quality, it is not as substantial as I had hoped for.

I am starting to think that I may have the new tyres overinflated.

Does anyone have any guidance on what would be the optimum tyre pressures, front and back?

Many thanks,

Rob

Isnt it something like 2.3 front, 2.6 back?

Or the other way around

In fact, I'm of no help at all...

Concensus seems to be around 32 rear and 30 front. worked fine on mine at that for a long time.

What you currently set at?

I just converted it, so I run mine on 2.3b (33psi) Front, and 2.6b (38psi) Rear

Mine are currently at 38 PSI on the rear and 32 PSI on the front. I will drop that down to the numbers you suggest.

Comfy-street, here I come! :D

So there you go Rob, already a great range of opinions and preferred pressures from below to above stated book oem 'runflat' pressures

Whenever you step outside of a tried and tested OEM comination of rim size and tyre, then it's all about trial and error and what works for you.

At the moment I'm running my Falkens at 31psi front, 33psi rear and seems to work for me. Wear seems even too.
