Fake Dodo Juice?

I bought some Dodo Juice Purple Haze on Amazon and just tried it out. I've never bought the large 250ml tub before, but am wondering if I've been ripped off. For one, it doesn't smell at all like lavender. It smells like bubble gum! Plus, it seemed softer than when I've used it before and didn't seem to fill in blemishes as well. In the past I've bought the small 30ml tub...

It did make my car super shiny, so no complaints there!
 
My PB black hole glaze smells of bubblegum , :? i like going in the garage after its been cleaned , smells like a sweet shop :)
 
I'm fully bubblegummed up today after I detailed the car and finished off with Meguiars ultimate quik detailer... lovely smell.
 
Certainly don't mind the bubblegum smell - actually prefer it. Still makes me really wonder if I've been duped!
 
I have purple haze PRO - which is a better version - and it smells of a kind of fudgey bubblegum, not lavender either. I wonder if they've shipped you that by mistake ?

did you actually detail it or did you just give it a wash? :P
 
Just heard back from the manufacturers. They said they changed the smell as too many complained about the strong lavender scent!
 
I PB Black Holed mine yesterday, then stuck some Purple Haze Pro on for the first time since September :o

Smells almost as nice and the car looks gorgeous :thumbsup:
