Fairly minor chip to my split rim

Hi

Sadly my spotless new alloys was christened after 6 months!

Not sure how I got it, maybe stonechip but wanted to sort it in case it corrodes and bubbles ...

Can this be done DIY or a cheap pro repair without splitting the rim for refurb?

Thanks !

Hi, you should be able to get a reasonable match in women’s nail varnish to touch that in. That’s if you can handle walking around the cosmetics isle without feeling sheepish :P

They look like 294 alloys? I recently had mine done just that outer part. The paint shop split the rims and painted that part, it cost me 50€. But for the size of damage you have I probably wouldn't bother to do that and would just touch it up. You might be able to get some paint from Halfords or otherwise go to a car paint and body shop supplier. They should have some either ready mixed or probably can mix some for you.
